Dr. Angel Santana – Consultant plastic surgeon

Dr Santana is a highly experienced consultant plastic surgeon from Spain. His decorated career as a plastic and aesthetic surgeon started in 1996 and he has since built his experience in a multitude of cities around the world like Madrid, Barcelona and New York.

A long time member of the SCEPRE (Spanish Society of plastic repair and aesthetic surgery), he has also been a speaker, on an annual basis, since the year 2000  in several national and international conferences on topics such as breast aesthetic surgery and facial surgery and paralysis.

He brings his considerable knowledge to Dubai, where he joined our team in 2021 as Consultant Plastic Surgeon.

His long career includes attachments at such hospitals as the Gregorio Maranon in Madrid, the Mount Sinai medical center in New York, Quiron hospital in Barcelona and the Puerta del mar university hospital in Cadiz.

He favors procedures like breast augmentations, facelifts and mini facelifts, liposuctions, fat transfers while having some innovative approaches to performing them. An expert in day surgery under local and general anesthesia with many years of experience, his philosophy is to find the right individual solution for each patient

– Performs breast implants installation either under local anesthetic and sedation or general anesthesia; the procedure involves implants from under the pectoral muscle fascia and lasts just 60-90 minutes
– Performs certain cases of liposuction abdominoplasty under local anesthetic and sedation or general anesthesia with the least undermining, preserving perforators and lower abdomen sensitivity using tumescent
– Performs the infamous ‘mini facelift’ in 30 minutes under local anesthesia and comparably no down time. Also expert in full face lifts by limited SMAS undermining which restores the optimal connection between soft tissue and bone frame for long lasting results.
